Touchscreen not responding anymore

Hi all, my XZU does not boot up anymore. While pressing Power on it shows the Sony logo but nothing more happens, simply keeps showing the logo.I tried to boot with and without SIM as well as SD card. Now the interesting part is, when the phone is connected to the wall charger or to the PC it does boot up properly but the touchscreen is not responding to any input. I have already tried the volume/power combo to reboot, but that has not solved the problem. Doing a repair via PC companion was successful, but solved the problem neither. The screen was repaired one time already because I received the new device with a cracked screen. Used the phone now for 1 week after receiving it back from repair. Maybe the repair was not done properly? I don't know what to do anymore...

Regarding the screen not operating when connected to charge, please ensure you are using an official Sony charger and if you are please attempt to connect to another charging location as this would generally be a voltage issue.

I own only chargers from Sony, (Xperia Z, Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra). None of them made a difference. A different charging location has not helped either. I tried another attempt to repair the software via PC Companion, no use. The device boots up while connected to a charger, the Android OS is running and the device responds to input from the hardware keys (Volume up / down, Power) but not to any touch input. And still the device does not pass the Sony logo while not connected to a charger and refuses to boot up. Seems to be a more serious issue unfortunately Slightly_frowning_Face

Indeed it does, this unfortunately only leaves us with returning the phone for assessment sorry.
