Sorry to hear this but you would need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care and have your device inspected http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
this happened to my z1 last year after using it in the pool....it took three send backs before sony actually listened to me and fixed it.
i think they just test it switches on and makes calls and send the phone back.
I threatened the consumer ombudsman on them finally....as my phone was no longer fit for purpose and they wouldnt give me a new one.
Phone finally fixed ...and guess what this year ...one spash in pool and whole phone gone dead.
I am fuming as will need to go through whole rigmarole again.
keep persisting and tell them that the law says if an item is no longer fit for the purpose it was sold they have to replace it !
good luck
@riddle_212 Not sure what you expect from me - I'm not Sony, I am a member like everyone else on here and as this forum is user led then that means we have no influence nor can we impose any actions on Sony and their practises
@riddle_212 I had the same problem with mine, a restart helped but didnt solve, and got an update to a newer version and the problem was gone. But with great updates comes great incompatability... Other problems might arise but the initial problem will be solved. I understand the frustrations because other android devices seem to get by fine without any of these software issues.
