touch screen problem

need help please..last night I only charged my xu overnight and as i unplug it... the touch screen is totally messed up.... i'm using only one finger but the phone responses into two touches... mostly when i press in the right side ... the left side of the phone also responds (in a straigth vertical line)...please help me what should i do..

Chrisal this is a really obvious question, but did you turn it off and on again I had the problem a couple of days ago and restarted the xperia U and it worked fine. Hope that helps.:smileyhappy:

Sorry to hear what you've faced guys with your phones.

If not the tip given by ReefBm didn't sort it out I'd recommend you to update and/or repair your phones software.
