Touch screen problem

Hi Sony Support Team,

Last couple of days, I am facing touch screen problem, there is lag in touch response, I can clearly see when I type keyboard while messaging, and very clearly while playing temple run. Also when I tested the touch screen, I can see at some areas there is no response, I will very soon attach the screen.

Please help me in resolving this, does any one facing this problem? Do I need to replace my phone? after network problem now this, feeling sick.

but nobody cares.It's not about updating or Repairing !!! it happend suddenly !!! Sometimes it fix after shutting down the phone but sometimes it remains for hours !!! so i ask SONY Supports team,don't request us to repairng with SUS or PCC , I already did it !!!

Hi Bardia,

Even I repaired the phone using pc companion, but no use.

Next thing is I need to replace this mobile.

it is so irritating when the touch doesn't respond

The places marked in red circles are non reponsive regions, also other place I cannot say it works smooth, but there is lag in response that I have to strike couple of times to draw the lines.

If a repair of the phone's software didn't sort it our I'd recommend you to hand your phone in to one of our service shops for fix.

unfortunately this looks like a hardware problem, try sending your phone to a local sony service center. www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

same prob of lags,gonna go service center tomorrow to give it for repair.lets see when they will return it

I got my phone serviced, luckily I got it with in hours, they say the firmware for the touch got corrupted so they reinstalled the firmware. Now it is working great.

Thanks Sony for the quick service. , but i spent almost 300 rs in travel to get my free service

Aslo FYI guys, service center guys adviced me not to install ICS to my xperia U, since there are lot of bugs.

My phone is still under warrenty boss !!
