Touch Screen Problem On Soft Surface

I am facing a very wired problem with my SP. When I put it on a table (hard Surface) touch screen works just fine, but when I put it on soft surface (pillow/bed) it become unresponsive. Is this a problem or feature? If it is a problem, how can it be solved?

Its sounds like there is something with the hardware. I recommend you to contact your local support for further information
