TOUCH SCREEN ISSUES

Bought this phone(xperia neo V) 31st December 2011. Had a touch screen problem on May 11th 2012. Sent it to the service got it fixed. Worked perfect after that. Last week I had a charger connector problem, paid 900 rupees and got that fixed too. Today that's 1/12/2013  I have been experiencing a problem in the touch screen. It all happened after I unplugged it after charging.

In the beginning it used to happen for a while and it used to work fine after sometime, after sometime it kind stopped working (touch screen), so I thought of restarting the phone. While I was doing that, when I removed the back cover the phone started working completely fine. It was very smooth without the back cover, and as  put back the back cover it used to stop working (touch screen) and as usual I removed the back cover again and again so that it worked properly.
It worked fine for long time(around 1 hour) after that it got hanged again and now no part of the screen is working. Can't even unlock now.
I repeat when I remove the back cover and then lock it, that's the only way the phone works(screen). Without the back cover. The moment I put back the cover it stops working(screen)

Yes I did go. They asked me to change to ginger bread in the morning,  was a little busy at that time so I went in the afternoon to give it to them. Before going to the service center my phone suddenly stop working (touch screen only). They saw t then and told the screen should be changed. One more thing in the morning they had also checked the screen it 100% working perfect.
