touch screen becomes unresponsive

touch screen becomes unresponsive if an incoming call come there after i can't talk call if that call ends also i cannot do any further operation , I need to restart the mobile for further proceedings

Does your phone has a protective case, film or glass? 

settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test the proximity sensor

Can you please test your phone in safe mode and see if the same issue occurs?

yes its still there

yes there is screen guard and case

remove them > restart the phone > settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test the touchscreen
