My Xperia SP is only a week old and these issues started sufacing fyesterday. Initially, the problem was just randomly irresponsive touchscreen (which was annoying but dealable), but today suddenly touchscreen stopped responding altoghther and i had to manually reset the phone (opening the back case). I have been reading up on the issue and it appears that other people are afflicted with the same issue as well. It has been suggested in the forums that apparently Sony acknowledges that there is an issue and recommends that i take to a local service center.. But my Major problem is that i live in Dhaka, Bangladesh where i donnot get official Sony Xperia Service stations.. Can Sony recommend a DIY method for me to solve the issue from my house? Any directions/ recommendations on how to do it would really, really help ( I have been reading that a touch calibration tool like Touch FWT tools can be used to recalibrate the phone, but i cant seem to run it on my phone as it does not install {even after i allow unknown sources}. I feel truly helpless as it is a brand new phone. Xperia SP techies,please help!
