Touch does not respond during charging

Hello guys,

I bought a XPERIA SP two days ago.Its an awsome phone.Everything is great about this phone but i just have two issues:

1.Touch does not respond at all when I charge my phone via usb and when i charge via the charger it works occasionally but not everytime.Otherwise the touch works beautifully.This weird problem only happens during charging the phone.

2.My second problem is about the pinch zoom.Most of the times it works wonderfully but sometimes the sceen moves up and down instead of zooming.Currently my phone is in the 12.0.A.1.211.Will the 12.0.A.1.284 update solve the problem?

This problems are not that great but still kinda irritating as its my only two days old phone.

Will be greatful if u guys can give a solution other than telling me to do a factory reset.

Solution 1:

Are You Using Proper Data Cables (Provided with Handset) or Other Data cables..???

You may have the problem If you use some Local Charger/Data Cable for charging.

You'll not able to Use you rphone while connected.

So, Pls Use Original Cables for Charging. It's Always Good for Your Battery and Phone's Life.

Solution 2:

If You're getting in All Zooming Options..???

I mean, While viewing Pictures in Album, Surfing the net in Browser's or Camera..???????

If Yes, You can Enable/Disable the Glow Mode and check the same. It helps you to seems much better.

To Go for Glove Mode Options.

Menu> Settings> Display > Glove Mode.

try use the original charger... 3rd party charger with high voltage may stop the screen from working.

Thanks for the reply.I always use the original charger which is provided by Sony in the box and i also used the glove mode but same thing keeps happening :smileycry:.Also gave the .284 update (with factory reset) but nothing changed but the pinch zoom issue is fixed.The solution is that i have to turn off/on the phone everytime when the issue occurs

This is a known problem. Contact the service center for fix.

i was also having the same problem what i did was  went to the retailer and got my phone exchanged,if your phone is 8 dyas old then they will replace it with a new one,s better get your phone replaced,

and to avoid the problem do not use any other usb charger only use the original one provided by sony.
