To Sony developers .......

Hi Sony Android developers Something is wrong with your work , because most popular subjects on this forum are :

- downgrade to 4.1.2

- when new firmware

- problems after update to 4.3

- downgrade Xperia to Samsung or LG or any other phone if working better then Xperia SP with 4.3

- sloow , lag , wifi fix , fix 4.3

- i want to kill my Xperia

etc.....

This forum is the best assessment of your work and do not look good, do something to stop users hate Xperia SP with this problems

Maybe its because people  post,ask and complain about problems rather than people that do not have any problems with the firmware. Maybe the people that are complaining in this forum about the buggy firmware make up approx. 15% of all people that have updated their SP to 4.3

No one will start a thread that says "my W-Lan is working properbly" or "the battery life is amazing after updating".

So you only see those (i believe a rather small number of all people that updated to 4.3) who need help and in desperation are partly flaming about 4.3.

I didnt have any problems with the new 4.3 on my Xperia SP yet

Yeeeah... but at least you *have* the 4.3 update.  I took out a 4G plan last year, and because the 4.1.2 firmware inexplicably disables LTE, I still can't use it 3 months after we expected to be updated to 4.3.  I agree that you can't necessarily judge the overall quality of Sony's developers based on this forum, but I think it's fair to say that the quality and extent of the information provided by official Sony reps is abysmal.  That, if nothing else, should make customers think twice when it comes time to upgrade.  I for one will ditch Sony when I buy my next phone, but I don't hold out a great deal of hope for better support from any other manufacturer.  Just voting with my feet, and with any luck Sony will improve some time down the line.

This is the first time I post here, however I’ve been surfing this forum for about 3 weeks by now. So make a guess, what topics  I was looking for…  Exactly! The ones, Adbek stated above.  I’m quite sure that approx. 15% You mentioned are those who are not too lazy or shy or whatever it is to look for a solution for buggy 4.3 firmware.  Meanwhile the fact is that Sony mobile is loosing its credit.

I have bought this phone about a month before that update. When I saw the 4.3 update on my wife´s Xperia Z, I could not wait for it to arrive. And I have instaled it the very first day, when it was aviable. First with the PCC, that was a nightmare. Very lagy, extremly slow phone. Factory reset did not help. Than I have used the Sony update service and the phone is much better.

 But- it is not perfect at all.  Dimming the display is not smooth, uninstalling apps takes ages, when playing games, it freezes a little every second, which is annoing, very annoing. Generally, it is a bit slower, than on the 4.1.2

I love this phone, but this update makes me angry every day. And nobody from Sony comes here to say, what will happen and when. Just a few words and we will all know, what to do= downgrade or wait. We are not worth it. I am not sure, that my next phone will be a sony.
