Tipo single sim 3G network

After activating 3G vodafone Network in Bangalore, India, The phone does not go to 2G network( it looses Network) when 3G is not available.I tried Automatic and Manual mode , GSM only, WCDMA/GSM mode and WCDMA mode. It is Single Sim. Anyway what is correct setting?

I suggest that you begin with trying another SIM card and if the same problem remains you should try to reinstall the phone software using SUS.
