That’s a problem I have not seen before. I would advise trying a secondary SIM if possible and if this does not resolve the problem then try an update/repair:

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

and install it on your PC.

2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.

3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

4. Phone Software Update.

5. Start.

6. Repair Phone

7. Continue

8. Accept data removal

9. Next

10. Wait for prepare

11. Select Phone

12. Follow the connection steps

Hi Dear Sam,

The interesting thing is that my phone had this problem occurred since the last update!

After I updated the phone yesterday, the wireless system does not work.

On and off, but does not find any network.

Also, I feel it is very slow after the update.

update phone firmware to Build number 11.0.A.1.8
all problem if fixed

Test With Linksys Wap54G With Hidden SSID

I've exactly the same problem, after upgrading to 11.0.A.1.8 and two times reparing via PC Companion, even with one SIM, problem remains.

It appears that Sony isn't going to fix this bug. I'm really dissapointed.
