Time in the SMS

I would like to bring in to the notice that the time appeared in the received SMS oin Sony Xperia P  is the time which the sms is received and not the time the SMS is sent by the other party ..

I would really appreciate if this uf fied in the later fixes ..

If this is not the right place to put my suggestion please let me know the correct where could I do this ...

there were other threads on this topic and it seems to be a Network restriction

I dont think it to be a network discussion as I get the senders time on my SAMSUNG WAVE the other phone i was using .... ..

so I wont agree it to be a network issue

Just wanted to point out that m having no such problems...best e.g. are all my transaction alerts on ATM withdrawals and other sms reach almost instantly... just stating my exp...

yes max..it is true that time shows when text came into our device and not when the text was made by the other user. it is not a network problem and i tried turning my phone off and opened it after 30 minutes and still shows the exact time text arrives on our devices.as you said not a big issue but atleast now we know how our Xperia P works with our text messages.
