ticking sound even when not using camera( mostly when using internet )

i usualy heard that sound when i exit camera ... but now a days its heard mostly while using internet ( + walkman )... surprising is that phone starts lagging and walkman stops too ( as if camera is running in background ! horrible !! ), then comes few shutter tickings ( like i turned off camera and started it again few times )...

could it be a virus ? or its a bug in ICS , as im using it for a month now after update , but it has started around a week ago....

I have the same thing happening on my Go.

I believe this is hardware noise. Same thing, I hear it when I exit my camera.

but not when I am using the internet.

I do not think it is on the ICS upgrade, I heard the ticks long since GB.

What can consumers do?

Exiting the camera is ok as this likely just the shutter, unless it is particularly audible. If you do notice that is considerably louder than expected then it may be worth taking the phone back for assessment by an authorised repair agent.
