Throw/Devices causes Battery Drain

When using the Throw function on the Xperia Z or Xperia Tablet Z (both have the same bug) the Devices application doesn't get killed properly. This bug causes a huge battery drain, exceeding all other apps in my devices. In the battery history this is shown as the 'Devices' app causing the problem, but i'm positive this is due the usage of throw. I've repeadtly tried to use this functionality and the bug occurs every time. So far, the only solution I've found is a reboot.

Hi, I'm facing the same issue with my Xperia SP :smileyplain:, I sent some video to my computer with throw last Thursday, and the application "devices" was still running till today, when I have noticed the high battery consumption that this app was doing aa 73%. The only solution which I had come across was to disable the application (settings >>apps >> all >> devices >> disable) and enabling it when requrired,I think your approach might be better, though.

On the other hand I hope the guys of Sony fix this bug  in the new release, do you know if there is some kind of place to report bugs, apart from here??

Im not sure if its the same prob that I had or that bug is different but I started using the throw feature of my xperia z to play music from a device then had problem turning it off or disconnect. Until I found out the throw settings under Xperia tab in settings where u can disable throw devices or throwing feature

This issue should have been fixed in the 12.0.A.2.245 software. Please let me know if you still experience this.
