Thetring Problem

I have Xperia Z2 and I can't get tethering working, when I turn it on i get a message 'an error occurred during tethering' i can still connect my laptop to the phone's wifi hotspot but only get local access. I am on Vodafone India and they support tethering and my mobile data is switched on. In my phone there is an APN named "euinternet" it is not deleted I have tried several times.

Anyon got a clue? There seem to be a lot of people on Sony Xperia phones with the same problem ???

are you on Edge, 3G or 4G LTE? how good is the coverage?

I am on 3G and in the phone internet is working properly if i connect another device through thetring it shows limited connectivity and in my phone a error says "error occurred during thetring".

Please help me out.

Settings > about phone > status > signal strength

also check with your carrier as they might have blocked this .
