Sony has struck agen with one more world wonder!!!!! Chick this out :

TO ROOT YOUR MOBILE YOUR MOBILE MUST BE ROOTED
it may sound to you dear reader that I'm very very angry right now but no..... I am calm. not because I'm in any way satisfied. oh NO NO NO!!

but because I'm in a state of anger far pass description!

My sony xperia s has the latest ICS update. now all I wanna do is root the thing! so I unlock the boot loader and place the prerooted system.img in the fastboot file, make sure the phone is responding by typing command"fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version" . and then I typed the fastboot command "fastboot.exe flash system system_ics_prerooted.img wich is the name of the file!.... now for the funny part :
the command prompt came back with the respond FAILED all i could do is fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu :@

Do you have a pre-rooted system image, like is states in the other thread you started?
