i am experiancing problems in using this function.though i have downloaded tether exe to my computer, my phones tethering function is not working and i can not connect to internet on my computer using my xperia sola.can u help me?

make sure you have PC companion and or SOny Update Service installed on the PC

i have already installed pc companian, but i think tethering is not done through this software.

indeed not, it just to make sure the drivers are installed. do you run windows 7? you can use connectify and virtual wifi router to share internet connection via wifi..
