Temperature sensor?

Can someone tell me please, does the Z1 Compact have a temperature sensor?

I ask, as I wish to try temperature apps. A good many of those state their correct operation relies on the 'phone having a temperature sensor, and that you should check to see if your 'phone has this.  I read through Sony's Z1 specs, and don't see it featured.

According to the specs it does not have a temperature sensor or a barometer sensor

The sensors it does have are below

Compass/ Magnetometer	Yes
Proximity sensor	Yes
Accelerometer	Yes
Ambient light sensor	Yes
Gyroscope	Yes

You could try to use a 3rd party app from google play,they have that kind of info (even though I do not know how exact those are).

LE: Sorry,you are talking about ambient temperature not device temperature.

Many thanks. At least I know where I stand. Pity Sony chose to omit a temperature sensor.

Yes it does have a built in temperature sensor!
I noticed it after installing and running AnTuTu Benchmark and then viewing the Device Info screen. It shows my current battery temperature in (.C) as 26.9. I assume it's measuring the internal phone temp to prevent overheating?

Yes,that is true.Antutu for example can show you info about the internal part,but he was talking about ambient temperature.
