Takes longer to charge via magnetic charger than USB

I noticed that it takes longer to charge via the magnetic charger than the USB port. Also, with the magnetic, the phone sometimes discharge faster than it's charging.

it shouldn't discharge faster than it recharges the battery, are you connecting the other end to a wall charger or a computer? are you tethering or using heavy apps while charging?

The regular USB Cable works but not the magnetic charging cable.  I bought a USB - Magnetic Charger lead from Amazon UK.

Ok but where are you connecting the magnetic cable, are you connecting it to a computer or a wall charger, the magnetic cable has to be connected to a wall charger for it work properly, its the same cable that its in the dock and if you check the manual it does specify to connect it to a wall charger

Do you have the Dock to compare? you might have a faulty cable

I am going to return the adapter tip and get a different one. I am using a case // battery which uses the magnetic strip and it seems to be charging just fine. Also, the cable itself charges the phone perfectly.

The magnetic connection is very fiddly and easily drops from phone.
