I juste changed my Sony Xperia Z1 for a X Performance yesterday. My main problem is that when I press the power button, it take 4 seconds to display the welcome screen to see the Time.
with the Z1 is was immediately but not with the X. There is a way to fix that in a hidden setting ?
Look like the phone is in sleep mode. Once the phone wakeup, it will take few ms to display the screen, but few seconds idle, it return to sleep mode. (for the display).. it will still check for background activities.
That's so odd, could you test it in >>> safe mode ? also if you could create a video > upload it to youtube > post the link it will be quite helpful.
I rebooted few times and still got the same problem. Another thing that I try was to remove the sd card. That help a little (don't ask me why that could have a link).
Without the sd card, the problem is less frequent, before it was always after that I left the phone idle for 1 minute.
here a video (without the sd card). And I rebooted 3 times just to be sure.
could you repair it with XC and report back?

thanks for your help. here a little status. I transferd my data using Xperia transfert application from Google Play.
I removed the sd card, but didn't change anything.
I change the setting : Display -> Smart backlight control to OFF.
That seems to fix the problem.
I added a new sd card that I received yesterday, and the problem is still fixed.
so the problem was with the option : (Smart backlight control)
