SyncML on ICS

The Sony supported SyncML synchronization seem to be removed on the Xperia S  ICS update. Can anybody confirm?

Yes, the SyncML option is removed in ICS for Xperia S.

Any reason behind this removal? Will Sony provide SyncML support via a separate application or do I have to look for other SyncML clients on the market?

I have no info on why this is no longer present, but I think that you will have to use an SyncML application from Play Store if you would like to sync via SyncML.
