SyncMate issue with folder sync between Mac and XPeria's SD card

Hi all,

SyncMate Expert 5

Sony XPeria Z5 Compact with Android Lollipop

MicroSD card 128GB Sandisk Ultra in Z5 Compact

When I try to sync folders using SyncMate Expert, sync fails in either direction, if the phone-side sync targeet is on the SD card. Internal memory is okay, though.

Normally the SyncMate Android app shold ask for permission to write to SD card, but it doesn't.

Anyone here knowing this problem and how to get aroud it?

Or is there any other simple folder sync solution aroud that does not have such issues? I'd like to auto-sync (timed) via WiFi and/or USB a 70GB collection of files between the Mac and the XPeria's SD card.

Thank you!

Danny

Hi Danny908,

Welcome to the community,

Honestly you are best to speak with Syncmate regarding such an issue, as this is their software.

They likely have a support section on there website.

Of course I have asked them about a solution involving their software, However, I was hoping to get some ideas for a workaroud or alternative software to use over here.

I also thought it might be an issue related to Android on Sony XPeria devices maybe, as there doesn't seem to be many people having this issue with Syncmate.
