Synchronising Evernote

I've installed Evernote on my PC and on my Xperia U but can't get the two to sync. I write notes in Evernote on the PC and expect them to appear in Evernote on my phone, but they don't. Am I being dim? What should I do?

I haven't used evernote myself but I guess there are some settings somewhere, where you need to enable synchronization.

Thanks, Samuel. I have checked the settings and can't see anything too obvious, but I have reset a couple and await results.One very obvious question - presumeably the "Receive incoming calls" box in the "Accounts" menu should be ticked?

A colleague of mine uses Evernote so I'm looking trough his settings here. I guess you have checked the settings under Settings > Synchronize notes? If you ticked the box called "Only sync over WiFi" you (obviously) need to be connected to a WiFi to synchronize the notes.

Can't find any option called 'receive incoming calls' under the accounts menu actually. Which version are you running in the phone? Got version 4.3.5 here.

I'm still using version 2.3.7 as I was scared that some apps would not run under a later version. Should I upgrade?

Do you mean Android version? I was referring to the version of Evernote, not Android

Hi Samuel. After uninstalling Evernote, installing ICS and then reinstalling Evernote, everything now seems to be working perfectly, goodness knows why! Anyway, thanks for your help - I'm sure I'll be back with another problem soon. By the way, love Ice Crean Sandwich, which installed without a hitch and seems to work brilliantly.
