Switching to different keyboards

Before updating to Android 4.3, my keyboard had a button to switch from English keyboard to Italian one. After the update, this button disappeared, as it seems the software should automatically recognize the word I'm typying. Anyway I don't feel very confortable this way, because I often use the Swype Keyboard and it's always such a mess (of course it is: there are lots of words more that could fit my path if two languages are included). Is there a way to bring that "switching" button back?

That worked for the old 4.1 Android version, not 4.3 Slightly_frowning_Face I'm afraid there's no solution.

Thanks guys Grinning_Face

@Danial-mach1 I selected Italian and English

@ash97 Right, this is the reason way I'm afraid there's no way to "fix" it: when I select Italian and English, the Keyboard actually recognizes words from both languages, so it  works properly. The problem is that It works in a way I don't like. Anyway I don't understand why this problem exists only for Italian and English.
