super slow smart phone

Hello,

Using this phone since 1 year with android 4.0.4.

I kind of express this phone as Super slow smart phone.

There are many bugs in the product, i'll definitely posting these as i recollect

1. Timer display is wrong.

When u turn on the phone it shows old time whenever u last seen this **bleep** phone.

2. When call gets disconnected it doesnt light up the screen or doesnt notify that call is disconnected.

These are totally visible bugs complementing the product.

Moreover this is super slow. You cant run two applications simultaneouly. It becomes unresponsive.

When you turn on the display, the clock on the lock screen may not be updated while the clock in the notification bar shows correct time. Within a second or so the clock on the lock screen will update itself.
I believe this has to do with power saving. When the display is off the phone goes to a power saving state where some apps are paused. When you turn on the display it will take a short moment to resume and update the apps.

If the other person hangs up on you or the call is disconnected while you have the phone at your ear it will not light up. You should hear a short tone though.

Hello mate, I had very similar problems as you after having the Xperia U for just over a year. It was a great phone initially but became super laggy, switching between just 2 running apps would take forever and it was very frustating.

I have since moved to the Z1 Compact (which is fantastic), but to solve your problems I would do a factory reset and disable any apps that you do not use....I also reccomend downloading an app such as Clean Up Master which can free up your cache and maybe improve performance (not too sure, but worth a go).

Definitely do disable the apps that you don't use though, I hope this helps mate.
