Hi there, I am buying new cell... Sony is my 1st choice always.. i thought of buying sony xperia m dual... but the specs of MOTO G stopping me buying the sony... moto g impressed me so much that i've held up buying any phone until any releases from sony... atleast if sony can release Android Kitkat update for xperia m dual i'd definitely love to buy that device..

there is huge market in india, i hope sony will never fail to grab it by providing software updates to lower end devices also...i'm sure lot of moto buyers will opt sony xperia m if u provide update.. hope so sony will take my advice in +ve way.. hoping for good news soon...

Dear Sony Mobile,

Important suggestions for you to further improve your offering:

  • SBH-80 headset, how about it having a vibrator functionality, so you really don’t miss any calls, yet remain silent?

  • For Xperia Z3, Z3 compact and onwards, as a user you must protect your screen from breaking (twice for me in July…) yet there are nearly no covers that are adapted so that they also permit you to use the excellent magnetic loading dock. How about changing that?

  • Even though one or two such do exist (your own) there are no top-flip ones (the ones with a magnetic lock at the bottom, hinges at the top. Ones being goodlooking and not insanely thick) enabling you to open and shut the phone with a flick of your wrist.

  • Biggest flaw of your phones: you enable the user (parent maybe, like me) to take tons of excellent timeshift photos. Any wise user will want to back these up to Dropbox, Google or similar. Yet there is no way for me as a user to easily delete the 59 photos I don’t want. Instead I rapidly accumulate several hundreds, thousands of inferior photos that thoroughly wreck my photo backup/real photo album. I would be delighted if you could please fix this.

I would be extremely happy if any of the above could come through (or if you could help me with point nr 4).

Best regards

Erik

India's market is undoubtley huge and there are lot of opportunities, but dont be riddiculous, you guys are only an opportunity, nothing more. Even compared to some European tiny states youre a 3rd world country, so for huge multinational companies there is no reason to provide extensive support for lower priced products, its a practice well known in West for decades, and when i pay 200$ for this device i know i ain't gona have some support, because, the next year, i'll buy something new for 200$ and next year over and over, till i could afford a flagship. For you guys i sense its different, you spend 200$ as it is a huge amount of money in your eyes, and expect flagship quality of support. Thats not gonna happen, the sooner you guys realise the better. I am not saying it is right what Sony or any other company does, im simply stating the facts how today's world rolls.

BTW. i do think Sony needs to review its software upgrade support policy, making it much more like Apple's, so all these devices who can support it, should get newest OS releases.
