Suggestion Req before updating to ICS from GB

Dear Team,

My Phone is SE Neo V running with GB 2.3.4 build no:4.0.2.A.0.62 and would like to update to ICS.I am from India and my SI NO:1254-8968.

Require your kind suggestions before updating to ICS on below mentioned points.

1.What are versions available for update in ICS?

2.How can they be updated?

3.Any backup and modifications to be done before updating to ICS?

If you find your SI in the released software table the software for your device is released and available in PC Companion and Bridge for Mac where you can update your Xperia™ Smartphone.

We will continue to add items in the list as soon as they are released.

We will however not be able to answer on questions like: "When will SI number XXXX-XXXX be added to this list?" or "when will country X get the update?"

I am having Neo V and recently i upgraded it to ICS..few weeks back i guess...

Its all good...UI is great..better than before..clear n crisp....

Camera quality...i guess...got increased..dunno...but thats what i felt....

You can disable the apps u dnt want...thats quite handy!

would like to suggest you to first save the contents of your memory card on ur pc or laptop. Format it. Use pc software for sony to upgrade it.

One thing more...we can access music while phone is locked.so thats great.

Yeah, 2 things i wish sony will make up in their nxt upgrade...

1) numbr of fb notifications while mobile is locked.

2) CALENDER...i want calender to show fb b'days without opening it..just like gingerbread...i hv posted a question also ABT THE SAME.
