Sudden death again again and again

Hi,

My Z3C is having sudden death problems again !

It happend a year ago and with the on/of button and volume + i could awake it after several hours of charging.

Now the same happend, but after 1-2 hours the phone switches off again 😞

Is this the Sony quality?  Really pissed of with this.  Had a Motorola before that my wife is still using after 5 years with only battery life as a normal problem after so many years.

You buy what was at that time the flag ship of Sony mobiles but it is like having bought a Mercedes that lets you down every 10.000 miles.

Really really dissapointed with Sony. 

Is there a (lasting) solution now?

You could repair the phone with XC and/or stop by your Local support

Hi,

I tried software repair with XC, but it didn't work as the phone went dead during the process. 

Now I put it on charge and try to revive it from time to time with on/off + volume +   or on/off + photograph switch but no sign of life untill now.

If it stays like this I will take it to a local Sony repair shop. Unless there is ssomething else I can try to revive it?

i have the same problem here,even i update software to marshmio 6, also i tryed to downgrade to 5.1 the problem isstill happning 

working for ours and the turn off ,the i keep trying many times to turn it again and keep it for long time to turn on again and again and again etc.. sony would not respect us and give us solution thats it.

Hi,

after almost a month I got my phone back from the Technical service in Turkey. They work well with sms messages that keep you informed of the status of the repair. So far so good.

I have used my phone  2 days and now the same problem occured again. Exactly the same problems.

Tomorrow I will send the phone back and i will miss it again for a month ! My phone is my working tool not a toy for me.

Again I am dissapointed in Sony !

I want to beak smash the phone woth a hammer and put in on Youtube with the right comments. I am sure it will be a world wide hit for Sony.

If Sony Turkey would propose a swat with a Z5 C i would consider it and maybe even put some money on top if necessary.

So I have sent my phone back to the technical service here in Turkey.

First I got a message that they were waiting for spare parts (exactly as the first time I sent it to repair)  but a few days later I got a message they were waiting for a complete new device.

Yesterday the new device arrived  with new IMEI number complete in the box with new charger and earphone.

Hopefully this device will not have the same issues as my old one. Thumbs up.
