Sudden Battery Drain.

I purchased Sony Ericson WT19i "Live With Walkman" few months ago.

Since few days, i am observing that my phone battery suddenly discharges for 30% to 0%(within seconds), the phone is switched off.

And when I plug in the charger and switch it on, the charge begins from 30%..

Please help me for this as I cannot judge that how long my phone is on.

run Service Menu it will check your battery's health

repair your phone with SUS and do NOT install any app, it might be an app acting up or a bug

I didn't get u.

Do you mean to re-install the sofftware?
And, then not to install any other app??

If yes, then for how long?
P.S. My phone already has the latest version.

yes reinstall Android, why? bc there might be a bug or something causing this issue, just repair it with SUS and wait few hours w/o other apps if the problem persist you should take it to a sony repair center, if it doesn't well  you know it's an app the culprit.
