Stuck in Bootloop

Hi everyone,

my phone is stuck in a bootloop. The battery appears to not be charging anymore either therefor it is not connecting to PC companion. When I hard turn off (vol up + power for 5 secs) the phone does swith off. However when I hold vol down and plug in usb cable to pc comanion software update the led goes green for a few seconds, thens turns red and the bootloop beging. When i have the phone on the charger the bootloop continues with the red light flashing off and on depending on whether the screen is off or on. When i hard turn off the phone and have it on the charger there is no LED meaning i don't think that the phone is charging. Any ideas?

Have you tried connecting it to Sony Update Service instead of PCC? If not worth a shot, you can download from here Update service - Sony Smartphones (Global UK English).

The other thing to try is to turn the phone right off by power and volume but hold for ten seconds til you get three vibrations (the five second trick gives one vibrate so carry on holding through that)

Failing either of those it will have to be looked at by a Sony Service Centre Contact info – global contacts - Sony Smartphones (Global UK English)

try leaving your phone connected to the charger maybe to 30 minutes to 45 minutes. how long do you have this problem?
