Still on android 2.3.4

hey guys. 

i just bought the neo v for my wife and the thing that persuaded me to get it instead of the galaxy w was the ics update available as soon  as i got it.

unfortunately, even though it should have been available in april looking up the SI on that ICS update list, both the phone and pc companion state it is up to date with android 2.3.4.

any suggestions?

the phone is a uk one and she has a giffgaff sim in it as it is unlocked so it isnt being affected by the carrier issues some may see.

Check the SI list again. As it was edited and a few SI numbers were removed from the list.

if its still there, connect with PC companion, and check again. Properly.

Some suggestios. Before going for the update, format the SD card and reset the phone, and then go for the update. After the update, repair the software using PCC, S(M)US.
