St15i screen issue and support

Hello,

I have bought a sony ericsson mini st15i five months ago from Stephanis Cyprus and reently the problems with the screen came up (http://talk.sonymobile.com/polls/1164?pollSuccess=true). From forums I understood that this is a very common issue on st15i and also Sony released a calibration fix for the issue. The seller called few days after I took them the phone and told me that there are scratches and the phone is out of warranty. Also they told me that it would need 100 euros to be fixed since the whole touch mechanism needed to be replaced. I told them about the calibration fix and for the known st15i issue but they did not seem to listen.

My questions are: Is Stephanis Cyprus an official reseller and support center of Sony Ericsson? If yes why didn't they know about the calibration fix?

If not does any seller have the freedom to provide support for phones? Doesn't Sony Ericsson provide official global warranty for the phones? Since the seller have opened my phone is it now out of waranty? Also who decides if the scratches on the phone make the warranty void or not?

Is there a legal department where i can sent pictures of the phone and make official complaint about this?

You will have to contact your local support team to get more information about this and what authorized repair centers there are in your area.

No Sony Ericsson/Sony Mobile does not offer world wide warranty, it's regional based and this is also stated in you warranty documents.
