I'm not sure if this is normal or not, so I'll ask now. The top speaker is a bit quieter than the bottom on my phone. Is this normal or do I have a defective model? Thanks

It could be a defect. Unless you're listening to ringtones, or speakerphone. Those only use 1 speaker

This is normal! Top speaker on mine is a bit quiter too. That's same with every Z2.
