Speaker has stopped working

Hi,

My Xperia Mini Pro has just passed 12 months old, it is in pristine condition. Randomly, the speaker has stopped working, it hasn't been dropped or had contact with water.

I can use the loudspeaker or handsfree kit but the interal speaker has stopped working.

Could it be a software issue or is it likely to be a hardware one?

I fear that the warranty is 12 months, I bought it from Carphone Warehouse, I need to check this.

It might be related to software. Try repairing the sw in your phone via PC Companion to see if it solves the issues. If it doesn't, you might have to send in your phone to service. If you have just passed the warranty-date they might be nice and help you out anyway.
