Speaker Buzzing When Volume Mute/Low

Hi,I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem, or could give some advice about what to do.
I recently (last week) bought a Z2, and I'm loving it. Except there is one flaw, not sure if it is software or hardware based. Here is a detailed description of the problem.

When the volume is on low, or zero (mute) and a sound is playing (either music or in an app), the speakers emmit a 'static buzzing' noise. This may also persist a few seconds after the application is closed. With headphones on, and volume muted, there is no buzzing through either the headphones or speakers. It's also possible this continues with higher volumes, but the sound then might drown it out.

The easiest way to test this is open an app with sound, or play some music then slide the volume down to zero, and hold the Z2 up to  your ear.

I have tried playing around with all the numerous audio settings, but found none of them have made a difference.

I'll do a software reset if reccomended, and will take it back in for servicing, just don't want to be without a phone while it's under repair. If you need any addtional information, please ask!

Same here. I have installed xperia service setup and using the earpiece test, i have this static sound all the time, and of course i hear it very clear when i take down volume to zero, the static noise is always at the same level, no matter volume.
Why you always hear it when you are in a music app or whatever is because the sound circuit is activated and is of this poor quality. And why you dont hear the noise in other occasions is because the circuit is deactivated.
So good job sony. You are advertising this unit to be the art of sound. For your knowledge, it is crap, pure crap..
I will take back my statement when you fix it, or give me my money back.

I havet the same problem. Dont Know what to do Whit IT. Washington og the mobil store where av bought the Phone. Andre they start samling cal ppty butikker havet trued. IT yet.
