Am trying toi back up my phone after the 201 update, when I try on the phone Back up and Restore app after putting in the password it comes up Could not back up - an error occurred during backup. If I try using USB and PCC it comes up with Back up Error - memory is encrypted. Has anyone any ideas please?

You cannot backup as the memory is encrypted.

Any idea why the memory would be incrypted and how would I rectify it?

Is Developer Options enabled?

There's an option called "Desktop backup password". If that's set, then the memory is encrypted and you need to unset it for PCC to work - enter the old password and leave the new password field empty.

I find disabling USB debugging is useful when using PCC.
