Sound when unlock (slide down)

Hey all,

This is very trivial but it's bugging me. Whenever I unlock my xperia z by sliding down it now makes this sound - it wasn't doing it yesterday and I can't make it go away. It does not happen on silent or vibrate. Nothing in the sound settings appears to work, even 'screen lock sound', which I thought would be the closest thing to it. i've turned off all apps from settings > apps, so I don't see how it's one of those.

It's acting quite strange. That box in unchecked and it's still making that irritating 'bloop' noise whenever I swipe down to unlock. Screen lock sound is definitely unchecked.

I've remembered that it isued to make a 'click' I think, when it unlocks. The noise is now three, deep, swift bloops. Unchecking the box does not get rid of it.

Maybe the media sound is on high? try putting that 1 down and see if it goes quiet

that's quite odd, do you have any intrussive apps or a different home launcher or lockscreen app?

I updated yesterday and ever since it's been making that sound. I have done nothing else out of the ordinary so I can't think of anything else but the update being the cause of this. Sony?

found the problem, my wife had the exact issue and i just fixed it. She had a wallet style folding cover and kept her credit card and licence in it. The chip on the visa card was making the phone make the noise. Removed the credit card from the cover and problem fixed. hope this helps many others.

I figured out the problem with help from James above. It was my magnetic case causing it. This only happens when Nfc is turned on as it must think the case is another device. Hope it helps

Omg I had the same problem... I put my bus pass in my wallet and then I took out and no more bloop noise!
