Sound settings automatically being changed

Got my Z1 Compact in October but have been having problems with sound settings being automatically changed in different ways at various times e.g:

- Ringtone & Notification volume changed to zero 

- Phone ringtone changed to 'none' 

- Alarms volume changed to zero 

- Notification sound changed to 'none' 

as a result I keep missing appointments /phone calls / tasks / etc:

Updated to latest version of 4.4.4 (build 14.4.A.0.157)  recently and still have same problems.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Can anyone suggest a solution?

Two possible solutions, 1. Repair with PCC or 2 boot on safe mode, while on safe mode If the issue it's gone then it is an app causing this problem

Thanks for these suggestions. I have started with a repair and will see if the error happens - it's very spasmodic. Will try Safe Mode if that fails.

Sorted (I think). I found that the setting changed after My Profiles app changed to another profile and then back to Normal. I had misunderstood the settings in Normal ('No change') actually meant no change from the previous profile so the settings for the other profile did not automatically revert to the 'Normal' settings.
