Sound Issue during phone calls

I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini for almost 2 years.

Just recently my phone has been making a 'ticking' noise, similar to EMI noises, during all phone calls. The noise is not there when I put the call on speaker. Also, the other caller cannot hear it and can hear me fine.

Any suggestions to fix this problem?

Repair your phone with SUS or PC Companion, if that doesn't work then it might be a hardware issue.
