I want to remove items from the home screen of my sonyxperia tipo dual. The trash box does not appear when I hold the icon and the item gets opened. What should I do?Also what should I do to remove the shortcut items displayed on the screen? I no longer want it as short cut.

Keep on pressing the applicaton icon until you get the thrash icon.
