SONY Z3 Headphone does not work.....

So it is almost 3 weeks that I got my sony z3. for the first 2 weeks the headphone was working perfectly then it sudenly stoped working. the phone has never been droped and never been in water. when I plug in/out the headphone nothing happens, I tried 4 different headphones including the original one, 3 speakers but still no sound coming out of the headphones. I tried hard reset, clearing data on the smart connect, updating smart connect, and also I tried the pc companion uptade as well but still nothing happening. however, when i installed the soundabout and force the phone to play from the headphones it worked but only when the soundabout is running on the background the headphones worked. thus, that means it is not a hardware issue it a software issue.

I decided to contact sony for warranty but they told me I need to ship the phone and the proccess will take aound a month!!!!!!! really a $750 phone needs a repair after 3 weeks of usage and the funny part is I only owned this phone for 3 weeks but it needs a repair time for one month.

really really disapointed. please help if anyone having the same issue.

Hi all.

Xperia Z3 speaker not working properly and even service center is not supporting.

Screen blackouts during calls.

Ever tried a software repair with companion but of no use.

Can any one suggest any solution or I should consider it my fault switching to SONY.

I had this issue up until now but i found an alternative solution and it is working for almost a month now. First, did you check the jack if there are unwanted dust in it? If so, clean it and check the headphone if it will work. If no, then go to settings>language and input. Check if you have pico tts. This is my problem, i dont have pico tts just google text-to-speech. So what i did is download SoundAbout from GooglePlay. Try this, download it and turn the app on then choose media audio according to your headset. SoundAbout will force the phone to channel the audio. This worked for me.
