Sony Xperia Z3 Dual

I purchased the Sony Xperia Z3 Dual phone less than three months ago. Ever since I have had some problem or the other,  the contacts stop, the android processor stops, the phone hangs up, etc.

I downloaded their update and lo! all my contacts disappeared.

And then I had my experience with the SONY after sales.......

UAE does not appear in their list of countries on ther MEA website - unless it is in Arabic which I dont understand. Somehow managed to call some helpline only to be told they were closed for the day and there was no 24 hour helpdesk available. I managed to get the details of one of the service centres and visiting them was told that no restoration of the the data was possible and I would have to leave my mobile for checking which would take a 10 - 15 days. Can you imagine being without a mobile for a day let alone 15 days!!!

Being put in a corner, I struggled on my own and to my relief managed to recover the data.

Last week I noticed discoloration on the screen and took it to Carrefour from where I purchased. Here again I was asked to leave the mobile for being sent to the service centre - which again would take 10 - 15 days. No standby or replacement offered!!!! Calling the authorised service centre Technocare means a endless wait on the phone.........

Never ever have I faced any such problems with the phone or lack of sales support with iPhone or Samsung. The is last time I ever purchase a SONY product (my experience with their TV is another story), let alone a phone.

Sorry to hear that, you could have asked here before you send it to service and we could guided you for resolving software issues. As far as I know the authorized service provider for Sony in UAE is JUMBO Electronics. And I suggest that you send this feedback to Sony directly through this link:
