Sony xperia z1c notification problems

Hi all 

Wondering if anyone can help.

Bought myself a Sony xperia z1c which is running last firmware andriod (previously had a Samsung galaxy).

On my Samsung if there was any action on eBay, Facebook, Skype etc I would get a notification along my top status bar.

However with my Sony I don't get anything only once I open the app it shows that there is a notification. My notification settings are all turned on I'm totally baffled can anyone help or knows why this is happening issue really annoying kind of wish had of stayed with my s2 now.

stamina mode is disable and only the gmail apk and native sms works well.

You may need to open the individual apps and enable notifications - I know that for some apps I have that I had to do that and for others I disabled as I found them nonsense

Is it possible that you have turned Sync off?

My current Xperia phone with 4.1.2 (old) does not have an Account Sync Toggle, but I downloaded one from the Play Store, anyway if yours do have a Sync toggle please see if its turned off... or go into Settings and scroll down to Account, and see if the problematic apps have the icon turned off....

unfortunately this is not related with the apk sync. They are on.

and all the individuals aplicattion that is of interest to me are with enable notifications.

this sounds like a random thing!

something give me the notification on the moment, another times no!

like now... typing with some friends on google chat from the bowser and nothing append on the hangouts apk.

but in others days, works wel..

and the annoying thing is the Skype!

sometikes (80% of the time) lose the calls or messages. Need to open to get the losed calls!cam'on!!

In other hand, stuff like gmail or facebook apk not the chat, works like a charm.

disable stamina mode and try again

disabling and enabling is what I do every night and morning.

during the day when the stamina is disabled is when that situation happens...

Well... when it comes to HANGOUTS it only notifies you IF you do not have an open chat on your computer...

When I chat with my wife on my Notebook, using Gmail, or Hangout... it will not notify me on the phone... since it duplicates the chat...

I think the same happens with Facebook Messenger.

But not sure about everything else
