sony xperia z1 touchscreen problem

Hi,

I have a problem with my phone the phone worked just fine. Yesterday it fell on the ground and the screen cracked. The LCD is still intact. From there on the touchscreen stopped working. I tried reseting it and some other things and it still doesn't work, but when I plug in a computer mouse it works fine I can call look at messegess, mail, play games everything. How do I fix it do I need to change only the screen or the whole LCD?

Although the LCD and digitizer are separate items, unfortunately they are glued together so to replace just the digitizer is possible it will take some skills to perform a DIY repair - If you have it repaired by Sony or in a repair shop/store then I'd hazard a guess they would replace the whole LCD assembly meaning it will cost a lot more
