Hi everyone
I was trying to restore my sony xperia z1. half way through the restore process the download failed and a box poped up saying i need to make sure i am connected to the internet. I clicked on 'retry' but nothing happens so i had to cancel the download. I tried to repeat the process again but the phone wont turn on or connect to pcc. A massage comes up when i turn on the phone says 'the software update failed. Make sure you are connected to pc and try again'. I believe that the system corported in my phone at the moment please help me recover my phone. Thank you
Connect your phone to a wall charger > press and hold Power & Volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 to 3 hours
when i started the process of restoring my phone was on 86%. I did what you told me to do and my phone just keeps turning off and back on and the same message comes up saying 'the software failed to update. Make sure you are connected to the computer and try again'
This was easier on SUS, but its no longer supported, charge your phone until its 100% > turn it off > remove both SD and SIM cards > run PCC > follow the steps to update your phone > then connect your phone while its off

i tried this as well but i get this message on ppc. " PCC was not able to conect to the phone, please disconnect and connect again. I tried this and it wont work. i dont know what to do now
Have you unlocked the bootloader?
i dont know what that is so i havnt unlocked bootloader..... dont know what to do
It seems that the last chance will be to stop by your local Xperia Care
is there any way i can fix it with my laptop or any software? its my only phone so i need it to work tonight
just the suggestions above, I would also recommend that you unisntall PCC and re-install it, and try a different PC, make sure to restart your PC after re-install PCC and disable your firewall and antivirus
