New to the forum so be nice

Just wondering, has anyone had an issue with the connection to the charger being terribly unreliable? This is the second z1 compact I have had in 2 years (1St screen broke but I have insurance) and on both phones the connection was terrible. It never seems to want to stay on charge. I have to wrestle the cable into some sort of position then leave my phone alone. But even then it will randomly stop charging and then charge on and off every half second sending the phone into a vibrating spasm! I've tried 5 different mini USB chargers so it's definitely 100% not the chargers.

Hopefully someone else has had this issue and can ensure me it's not just my bad luck or if they know of some easy fix maybe. Sick on Sony products and their terrible unreliability, off to the OnePlus 3 next week.

Did it worked for a while when you first got the phones? if it did but it then stopped working, that's a hardware issue, sometimes that happen when the user apply too much force to the connector or if the phone it's charging and stress it's apply to it, like bending the cable around the phone, etc.

Yeah it did used to work perfectly fine. I don't think it can be bent inside or anything like that because I use a blackberry charger from my old curve 3g when in work, and that works 100% the time, but it stays in work so kind of stuck on the weekend. If it is a hardware issue, what can I do?
