So I had an issue with my original xperia Z, screen failed like some others on the forum.
Fortunately it was replaced by the retailer under warranty, however I can now now access any of my purchased video content from the videos unlimited app / account as my device isn't paired to the account.
How can I pair the device? Tried all the help / web pages on the video unlimited site but states that the app should automatically link.. well it hasnt and as the app is built into the tablet I cannot uninstall and re-install the app.
Ideas anyone?

Have you tried throwing away the cache and prefs in apps in settings?
Or try to reset all apps in apps set up?

The device should automatically register to your account when you use the PlayStation Video app and successfully sign-in with your Sony Network Entertainment account.
To check that there are no issues with your account that is causing you to not see your videos on your Xperia could you please check if you can see your videos on the web by signing-in with the same account on store.playstation.com
Then in the top right corner click your user name and select "My Videos" in the dropdown menu.
Are you able to view them?
