Sony Xperia Z shut off itself

Hi,

I've already updated my phone to latest firmware 10.1.1.A.1.253 on 17/5/2013 via Sony companian.I experienced my phone shutdown by itself on 25/5/2013.Even though i pressed power button the phone cannot ON,I made a reset by pressing power button+vol then phone able to switch ON.

May I know why this problem still persist?

Thank you.

Is there any Sony Support guys can answer this?Come on guys

May I know what is your justification regarding the 'might be faulty SIM Card or SD card'?

thank you

shouting aka typing with caps, won't get any faster response. if u r that impatient, bring your phone to the service answer and demand for an answer there. they can't turn u away.

I agree with Zann.H if you ware not willing to try suggestions then take your phone to a Sony repair center, as simple as that.

Hello,

I have the same problem on my xperia Z and it's very disturbing.

What did you suggest ?

Hi @KOUX

First I suggest doing a backup of your device information: How to backup?

Then try performing a system repair using PC Companion. This will factory reset your phone and erase all data. You might need to
charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery. Make sure the device is not connected
to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3
times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device). Start PC
Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen
instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the
repair or reformat process. If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC
Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP.

I hope can be useful.

Best Regards,
