Sony Xperia X10 update problem

i have Xperia X10, it has a old version of android (2.1.A.0.492), i wish new 3.0.1.G.0.75, this is on website. when i connect the phone to computer and donwload all data from this website, here is written new version of android, but when i update the phone, my software is again old version. pls help me what can i do?

The reason is because your carrier/network is NOT going to release the update.

Your only  alternative is to manually update your phone

Simple, if you have not received the update by now its obvious that your carrier is not going to release it, also when 2.3.3 was announced for the X10, Sony told us that not all carriers/networks were going to release it. 

Your only option is to update your phone with flashtool.
